Delete your DawaCheck account

This page explains how to delete your account in DawaCheck (Android app, developer: DawaCheck, contact support@dawacheck.in) and what happens to your data.

Option 1: in the app

1. Open DawaCheck and go to Settings → Account.
2. Tap "Delete my account" and confirm.

Your account is deleted from our server immediately.

Option 2: without the app

Email support@dawacheck.in from the email address of the Google account you signed in with (or, for older accounts, include the phone number you verified), with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm by reply and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your Google account details (account ID, name, email address, profile photo) or phone number
• Your check count, subscription and recharge records
• Your saved My List

What is kept

Anonymous records of age range, gender, approximate location and searched medicines are stored without any name, email address, phone number or account identifier, so they cannot be linked to you and are not removed. Google Play keeps its own records of any purchases under Google's policies. Nothing else is retained after deletion.
